Accelerate Contaminant Breakdown

Sudoc Catalysts intensify oxidation reactions to accelerate breakdown of hard-to-treat contaminants in water. From dye removal to pharmaceutical degradation to broader micro-pollutant treatment, our chemistry can help businesses and municipalities with AOPs and treatment systems achieve their water re-use and sustainability goals.

Rapidly Degrade Textile Dyes

Sudoc Catalyst-enhanced peroxide, under varied dosing conditions, has shown to remove more than 90% of dye color in 11 common dyes, proving fast and effective treatment. Textile manufacturers can optimize water treatment for re-use and discharge.

Accelerate Electrochemical Oxidation With Less Energy

Sudoc Catalysts enhance electrochemical oxidation, accelerating contaminant breakdown while reducing energy demand. In this example, extremely low dose Sudoc Catalyst was added to an EOx system and rapidly degraded the common pharmaceutical Acetaminophen.

Destroy Micro-pollutants In Wastewater

Sudoc Catalysts, combined with hydrogen peroxide, help break down micro-pollutants in wastewater. In a bench test evaluating compounds relevant to the European Union's Urban Wastewater Treatment Directive, we reduced 10 of 13 target compounds by more than 80%, with eight reaching over 99% reduction.
