Dan Bigman Montalvo, Ph.D., leads product development and manufacturing for Sudoc’s dot™️ cleaner brand. He is Chief Executive Officer of Gasco Industrial in Gurabo, Puerto Rico. Over the past five years, Bigman has built Gasco into the island’s only developer and manufacturer of environmentally friendly detergents, disinfectants, and pesticides for industrial and retail use. Bigman combines entrepreneurship skills with a Ph.D. in Chemistry and a passion for “green chemistry.” While leading Gasco, he has put an emphasis on environmentally safe products to be sold in both Puerto Rico and U.S. mainland. His achievements in business and manufacturing have earned him numerous accolades and awards. He was named Manufacturer and Entrepreneur of the Year by both the Small Business Administration and Puerto Rico Manufacturers Association. Additionally, he was featured in Caribbean Business Magazine 40 under 40 business leaders.

Bigman earned his Ph.D. in Chemistry from the University of Puerto Rico and a Masters Degree from Stanford Graduate School of Business. He has published papers in top peer-reviewed science magazines and presented at numerous professional conventions.

For Sudoc, Bigman has been instrumental in the development of the dot™️ cleaner product line. His expertise in manufacturing industrial-level cleaning products that utilize green chemistry to reduce and eliminate use of toxic chemicals has paired ideally with Sudoc’s technology and mission.
